On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the eleventh edition of the global case study competition Belgrade Business International Case Competition 2026 (BBICC 2026) officially came to a close.

Over the course of the past week, a total of 100 students from 20 prestigious universities worldwide worked on solving three business case studies. The competition was held from March 8 to March 14, organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade. Among these distinguished universities, the University of Belgrade was proudly represented by students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

The main case study was provided by AFI Serbia and was solved over a 24-hour period. Teams were tasked with analyzing a real business challenge and proposing sustainable and innovative solutions that could contribute to the company’s further development and business model enhancement.

The first short case study, solved within five hours, was presented by Kafeterija, while the second was provided by AbelaPharm, challenging participants to develop a strategic approach aimed at improving the company’s operations.

Throughout the competition, teams presented their solutions to an expert jury composed of company representatives, industry professionals, and members of the academic community. Following the evaluation of all three case studies, the top four teams advanced to the Grand Final.

The Closing Ceremony was opened by the President of the competition, Tijana Ponjarac, who expressed her gratitude to all participants, partners, and members of the organizing team for their contribution to the successful realization of the event.

This was followed by speeches from the Co-Chairs, Marija Ognjenović and Katarina Rajić, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between students, academia, and corporate partners in delivering such an international event.

Special recognition was given to professor Vesna Damnjanović, the founder of the competition, for her longstanding contribution and continuous support in the development of BBICC.
