Student Parliament

The Student Parliament of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences is a body of the higher education institution whose goal is to realize the rights and protect the interests of students. The Student Parliament also represents all student organizations, influences them, coordinates their work, and works on projects targeting students as the primary audience.

The Student Parliament of FON represents the highest hierarchical body in student organization within the higher education institution. Apart from its primary function, the Student Parliament of FON comprises departments that aim for enhanced collaboration with the industry through numerous internal and external projects.

Currently, 70 students are engaged in these departments.

Aiesec

AIESEC

The Local Committee of AIESEC at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences was established in 1973 and is part of the largest global organization led by young people, which has been in existence since 1948.

Our project – Open IT, is known as the largest student IT conference organized by our members. It originated with the aim of preventing brain drain and enabling networking of young individuals with the IT community in Serbia.

Membership offers you the opportunity to work and acquire skills in sales (B2B or B2C), marketing, and public relations, project organization, as well as interpersonal skills through intensive team experiences that will prepare you for further career development.

Student Association

The Student Union of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences aims to enhance student experiences and promote their development through various educational and professional projects. Founded in 1991, this organization stands out as one of the most significant student associations at the University of Belgrade.

Through projects such as Days of Practice, Conference of Organizational Sciences Students, SportBizz, Ecological Project, and the Week of Prize Games, Student association provides students with opportunities to acquire and refine skills essential for their future careers. This active and dynamic association not only organizes activities at the faculty level but also has a broader impact at the university level.

ESTIEM LG Belgrade

ESTIEM is the European association of students of industrial engineering and management. Its main goal is to enhance communication and collaboration among students and technology institutions across Europe. With nearly 80 local groups, ESTIEM today represents more than 8,000 students in 26 countries.

Annually, ESTIEM organizes over 150 European events. These events aim to support students in their personal and professional development, focusing on soft skills, IEM seminars, case studies, and entrepreneurship.

Through constant work and improvement of activities and projects, over its 17 years of existence and operation, the ESTIEM LG Belgrade has become one of the most active and successful organizations gathering young and ambitious students at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

FONIS

The Faculty of Organizational Sciences Informatics Students Association (FONIS) represents the sole organization within the Faculty focused exclusively on the field of information technology. Through various internal hackathons, workshops, and projects, members have the opportunity to refine and expand their knowledge in the IT domain.

FONIS continually encourages its members to develop leadership skills. Through active participation in organizing educational and competitive projects, it enables them to work on personal competence development while simultaneously applying organizational capabilities.

For many years now, FONIS has created an atmosphere conducive to easy and rapid learning. As a result, many students discover during their membership in FONIS the areas in which they wish to advance and build their professional careers.

Case Study Club BCA

The Case Study Club part of BCA SEE is a group of students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences who are part of the Business Case Association Southeast Europe community, the largest association of consulting professionals, industry experts, and students in Southeast Europe.

Members of the Case Study Club explore and utilize the case study method as an academic and professional discipline to solve real-world daily business problems and challenges. Members of the organization represent the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the University of Belgrade at global case study business competitions. The mission of the entire community, as well as the club within it, is to identify, connect, and develop young leaders through various professional development educational programs and through collaboration with academic, private, startup, public, and other sectors.

Bufonerija

Bufonerija is an organization focused on involving youth in culture and cultural activism. Founded on the idea of AKUD FON, it successfully combines methods of artistic practice, cultural-artistic organization, and arts in education.

It provides students with opportunities to develop as creative leaders and peer educators, acquiring various knowledge and skills in cultural and media management, creative management, youth education, drama facilitation, game-based learning, theater production, and event organization.

By gathering students with cultural and artistic inclinations and employing organizational principles, it aims to strengthen culture and the arts, develop cultural needs, and create a space for culture where young people can freely and creatively express themselves, contributing to the broader community.

Debate club

The Debate Club of FON was founded at the end of 2006 on the initiative of Prof. Dr. Mirjana Drakulić, with the aim of promoting and perfecting debate skills, fostering critical thinking, public speaking, rhetoric, and other related skills.

Since its inception, a large number of students have passed through the club’s courses, making it one of the most successful debate clubs in the region. Moreover, the Debate Club sends debaters to various international debating competitions annually, competing against prestigious universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and others. The most significant competition is the World University Debating Championship, which involves over 600 students each year.

EkoFON

EkoFON is a student organization with the primary goal of promoting ecological awareness and disseminating, expanding, and acquainting the broader population with the fundamental principles of sustainable development. It began its operations in 2007 with the aim of proactive action in environmental protection and the implementation of sustainable development strategies, along with continually enhancing public ecological awareness.

EcoFON engages in ecological projects, training sessions, volunteer work, and connects with institutions, organizations, and companies involved in environmental protection

Quality Media Station

The Media Center for Quality, “Quality Media Station,” was founded in November 2015 under the Department for Quality Management and Standardization, as part of the large TEMPUS project “Enhancement of Quality Infrastructure in the Western Balkans.”

The Media Center’s strategic goal is to, in an informative and sometimes organizational sense, support the development of Serbia’s and the region’s quality infrastructure. It aims to promote quality management and standardization as professions both in educational and business environments, as well as in the general public media space.

Operationally, it is tasked with monitoring every event, happening, and activity that contributes to achieving this strategic goal, primarily at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, but also on a much broader scale.

SportFON

The Sports Society of FON, SportFON, was founded on 28 December, 2000. The members of SportFON are students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade.

The goals and tasks of SportFON include expanding sports activities and the sporting spirit within the faculty, representing the Faculty at university competitions, and fostering inter-Faculty and inter-university cooperation.

SAFON

The Student Association of FON is an organization that combines the theoretically acquired knowledge in the fields of IT and management skills of students. Through practical application, the association helps students develop their skills, which they put into action through various types of projects.

During their studies and membership in the organization, students have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience, become familiar with opportunities in the business world, engage in teamwork, and encourage each other for advancement and professional elevation.

Recognized for its projects, the Student Association equally focuses on its members, the students, and the organization itself, aiming for exponential progress and continuous improvement in its quality of work

Student Union

The Union of Students of FON is an organization founded in 2016 with the aim of promoting humanity, team spirit, collegiality, and creativity among young individuals through educational and humanitarian projects.

The Union encourages proactivity and youth activism among students and provides all its members with opportunities to enhance their skills in project planning, organization, and project management throughout the year.

The four external projects organized by the Union during the year include: Humanitarian Sports Tournament, USF Gaming Fair, FON QUIZ, and Humanitarian StandUp Evening. In addition to these, the Union focuses on the development and education of its members by organizing internal workshops and projects specifically designed for them.

Center for carrier development

FON’s Career Development Center is a student non-profit organization, founded in 2004. Our mission is to provide opportunities for the development, implementation, and enhancement of the creative, entrepreneurial, and scientific potential of students.

Throughout the academic year, we organize five educational projects dedicated to various fields and topics: FONup, FONklame, Vruća stolica, Podcast, and Active Student. Our organization consists of 50 members and five sectors, each playing a unique role, contributing with their ideas, work, and efforts, thereby helping us achieve all our small and big goals.

We are here to learn new things, meet new people, gain new experiences, and seize new opportunities that come our way.
