Students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences achieved remarkable success at the prestigious international UniHack competition held in Timișoara, which gathered more than 300 participants and over 60 teams from across the region and Europe. Thanks to the innovation and quality of their solutions, two teams from FON were ranked among the top five by the international jury, securing their place in the grand finale.
The FON finalists were:

- Abelian Group with the project Civisight – also the winning team of the Blockchain Challenge category.
Civisight is an application that enables citizens to photograph communal issues, automatically captures their location, and uses artificial intelligence to verify the accuracy of the report, classify the issue, and determine its urgency level. Validated reports are displayed on a map and dashboard where citizens can vote, while all data is stored transparently on the blockchain. The system also includes a user reward mechanism.
Team members: Marko Mijailović, Luka Jelisavac, Luka Dervišević, and Aleksa Živković.

- Pied Piper with the project PavePatrol.
PavePatrol is a smart-city system that uses embedded sensors in mobile phones to automatically detect potholes and provide maintenance companies with precise information about their location and severity. By integrating the Gemini API, the system generates optimal repair routes and work plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Team members: Teodora Jovanovac, Marija Mijović, Vukašin Lukić, Mihajlo Stajkovac, and Nemanja Simić.
The Faculty of Organizational Sciences, in partnership with the organization Cirkuliranje, organized the technical challenge Blockchain Challenge and provided expert mentors for participating teams. According to the decision of international judges, the Abelian Group team won this special category, further confirming the innovation and high technical competence of our students.
Within the Public Services category, FON was also represented in the expert jury by Aleksandar Joksimović, Teaching Associate at the Department of E-Business, once again highlighting the Faculty’s expertise and contribution to the international academic and technological community.
This achievement represents a strong confirmation of the quality, knowledge, and creativity of the students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, as well as the successful collaboration between FON and Cirkuliranje in promoting advanced technologies and supporting young innovators.
