The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences hosted eight students and two staff members from the Berlin School of Economics and Law as part of the COIL project on “Data Analytics in Finance and Marketing” from January 13 to 17, 2025. The aim of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the two higher education institutions and deepen knowledge in data analytics in the fields of finance and marketing. The project began last semester when faculty members and students from FON visited the partner institution in Berlin.
As part of this five-day visit, workshops were led by Assistant Professor Dr. Milica Maričić and Assistant Professor Dr. Dejana Nikolić, while Aleksandar Vratonjić Gligorijević from TeleGroup conducted a workshop on creating value through digitalization. On the final day, students had the opportunity to present their solutions to the case study they had been working on as a team for the past two months. In addition, during the visit, students explored cultural and social landmarks of Belgrade.
At the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, they were welcomed by Professor Dr. Marko Mihić, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Sandra Jednak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Finance, Assistant Professor Dr. Milica Maričić, and Nikola Drinjak, Teaching Associate. During their visit, the students toured the Faculty’s facilities, met and engaged in discussions with students, and attended a presentation on the Research and Development Center of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
The next visit of students and staff from the Berlin School of Economics and Law to FON is planned for May 2025, marking the beginning of the second generation of this COIL project.
