The professors of the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies of the University of Rijeka, Marina Ivašić-Kos, PhD, Dean of the Faculty, and Sanda Martinčić-Ipšić, PhD, Head of the Department of Intelligent Systems, visited the Faculty of Organisational Sciences on Wednesday, 16 November 2022. During their visit, the guests presented their institution to the students and employees of the Faculty and delivered invited lectures on the following topics: Application of Computer vision in Handball: Case study and Natural Language Processing: The Case of Integration in Business Intelligence.
The professors from Rijeka also attended a meeting with the Faculty management and professors: Prof. Sandra Jednak, PhD, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Dušan Barać, PhD, Vice-Dean for Digital Development, Prof. Ivan Luković, PhD, Asst. Prof. Aleksandar Rakićević, PhD, and Asst. Prof. Pavle Milošević, PhD. As this was the first official visit of the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies to the Faculty of Organisational Sciences, during the meeting, a number of topics were discussed: possibilities of realization of teachers and students exchange through Erasmus + and Ceepus programs, organization of joint summer schools, mutual co-mentoring on doctoral dissertations, joint work on projects in the areas of computer vision, computer intelligence, natural language processing, and the like.
