The traditional twelfth International Info Day took place successfully on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Students and staff from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, attended and actively participated in this year’s event. The Faculty has a longstanding and highly successful collaboration with the University of Zagreb, further strengthening the ties between the institutions.
The aim of this event was to inform students about opportunities for exchange programs, internships, or further studies abroad. Participants of the Info Day included representatives from organizations, institutions, cultural centers, and foundations, who presented programs designed for students.
Professor Dr. Sandra Jednak opened the event, extending a warm welcome and expressing deep gratitude to the institution representatives who answered the Faculty’s invitation to participate. She also expressed satisfaction with the students’ interest and participation, encouraging them to seize the opportunity for study mobility and make their education more enriching through a new international experience.
In the first part of the event, presentations were given by: Anđelka Radovanović from the Tempus Foundation, who introduced the Erasmus+, CEEPUS, and Erasmus Mundus joint master’s programs. Ms. Sandra Elezović and Ms. Vesna Adamović from the French Institute in Serbia presented scholarships from the Government of the Republic of France for studying in France. Ms. Danijela Esterman Pavlica from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) showcased opportunities for further study and improvement at German universities. Ognjen Ostojić, project assistant, and Jovana Vidaković and Jelisaveta Aleksić, alumni of the program, presented the “Zoran Djindjic” Internship Programme of German Business and the possibility of undertaking internships at prestigious German companies. Students Đorđe Đorđević and Petar Petrićević from the AIESEC student organization introduced internships abroad within their organization.
In the second part of the program, a workshop titled “How to Apply for Erasmus+ Exchange?” was held, followed by presentations from partner universities where students can go on exchange. The workshop was conducted by colleagues Ljubica Dimitrijević and Marina Jovanović from the University of Belgrade. They presented the MOBION platform, the application procedure for exchange, document preparation, especially credit recognition, and the preparation of the Learning Agreement. They also covered currently open calls for Erasmus+ exchange or internships at partner universities, scholarship payment methods, and more. Students showed significant interest in this part of the program, asking numerous questions. After the workshop, colleague Martina Đuras Sekovanić presented her faculty, the Faculty of Organization and Informatics at the University of Zagreb, and the opportunities for FON students to go on exchange there. Simultaneously, online from Paris, Simonida Đukanović and Teodora Grgurević shared their exchange experiences at the Universite Paris Est Creteil – UPEC. Teodora Jovanović spoke about her studies at the University of Pisa, which consistently generates immense interest not only at the Faculty but throughout the entire University, making competition high. Tijana Dimitrijević and Mia Mićanović, who had just returned from their semester at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, shared their insights. Finally, Jovana talked about her semester at the University of Oslo.
Throughout the entire event, informative stands were set up in the Faculty’s hall by: the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Organization and Informatics, the Tempus Foundation, the French Institute in Serbia, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the “Zoran Djindjic” Internship Programme of German Business, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the student organization AIESEC.
