The visit of the representative from the University of Limoges

Representatives from the University of Limoges, Céline Parvy and Philippine Husson, visited the Faculty of Organizational Sciences on Monday, March 11, 2024. This visit was realized at the initiative of the French Institute in Serbia, with which the faculty has been collaborating for many years on promoting programs of the Government of the French Republic and establishing cooperation with French universities. Present at the meeting on behalf of the French Institute was Mrs. Vesna Adamović. The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Dragana Makajić-Nikolić, Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Dušan Savić, Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies, and Bojana Ivanović Bovan, International relations officer.

 

 

Céline Parvy, project manager, and Philippine Husson, communication manager, presented the University of Limoges, which has 18,000 students, and particularly the TACTIC graduate school specializing in advanced ceramics and information and communication technologies. After Professor Makajić-Nikolić introduced the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, discussions followed regarding areas of potential cooperation between the two institutions. This primarily focused on information security, computer science, software design and development, internet-of-things devices, computer graphics, and more. Mrs. Vesna Adamović from the French Institute presented the possibility of the Embassy of the French Republic in Serbia funding a two-week stay for a FON faculty member to collaborate with colleagues and implement specific cooperation initiatives between the two institutions.

The guests toured the Faculty building and learned about the work of the Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Entrepreneurship Service (IRTz), where Ana Miličević, activity coordinator, presented activities within IRTz.
