Delegation of University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences has visited Matej Bel University from 3rd to 7th of December in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia within the Erasmus + KA1 project: Financial Management, Accounting & Controlling curricula development for capacity building of public administration – FINAC.Study visit included three days of lectures, which was attended by around 40 participants from all project partners. Project leader for MBU, doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD and professor Slađana Benković, PhD, project coordinator, opened the meeting with a welcome speech addressing all the participants. After that on behalf of MBU dean of Faculty of Economics, doc. Ing. Peter Krištofík, PhD greeted and welcomed all participants.
During the first day of activities, doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD was talking about importance of FINAC for Matej Bel University while professor Slađana Benković, PhD talked about results obtained in the first 6 months of the project. Steering Committee held a meeting where it was discussed about Adoption of Report on the implementation of the last 3 months activities on the Project and Adoption of External independent expert for preparing Report on external evaluation. Later during the day, participants had a great opportunity to hear about Evaluation of public administration reforms in Central and Eastern Europe EU member states presented by Prof. Ing. Juraj Nemec, CSc. from Matej Bel University and Masaryk University, also president of NISPA CEE association; Management of Civil Service Reform in Central Europe presented by doc. Katarína Staroňová from Institute of Public Policy, Faculty of social and economic sciences, Comenius University.
Last day presentations were held by doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD, and professor Beata Mikusova Merickova, PhD about SOLIDUS project presentation & round table (discussion on project in public administration); Doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD and professor Slađana Benković, PhD concluded this study visit and planned activities for next three months of the project realization. At the end of this meeting there was time saved for optional meetings of project members.
