Students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences were awarded the prestigious Saint Sava Award for 2021

Students from Case Study Club of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences: Zorana Dulović, Sergej Stanišić, Dragan Stojanović, Tamara Đorđević and Mina Petrović became the winners of the Saint Sava Award for 2021 for winning first place in the world competition in solving a case study in the field of circular economy for textile industry: Global Circular Challenge 2021.

This prestigious award, given by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, in recognition of the contribution to quality education and upbringing, improvement of educational practice and development of scientific achievements in the field of education in the Republic of Serbia was solemnly presented by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Branko Ruzić on January 27th, 2022 in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The ceremony of awarding the Saint Sava Award was also attended by Professor Dr. Milan Martić, Dean of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

The Global Circular Challenge 2021 was held online from January 20 to March 13, 2021, and the students of the Case Study Club of FON during the competition won renowned world universities and schools such as: Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Columbia University, University of Oxford, University of London School of Economics and Political Science and many others. FOS students were mentored by professors: Dr. Vesna Damnjanović and Dr. Nataša Petrović.
