FON students world champions in solving the CBS Global Case Competition 2022 in Copenhagen

Students from Case Study Club of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences: Dušan Višnjić, Aleksandra Krstajić, Marija Stojanović and Staša Stamatović became world champions at the prestigious CBS Global Case Competition 2022 under the mentorship of professor Vesna Damnjanović, Rastko Damnjanović and Vladimir Stojiljković. Colleagues Katarina Mirković and Stefan Ignjatović supported the team in the process of preparation.

The finals of the competition was held online, on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 in the organization of Copenhagen Business School. 300 teams from all over the world participated in the competition. The United States of America team won the second place, while the third prize went to the representatives from the Netherlands.

The first competition round was held in the beginning of February where company Pandora gave the task of the study, and participants were given 24 hours in order to solve the case. The topic of the study was to define the company’s growth strategy through an innovative approach to the young Y and Z generations. FOS students proposed a personalized customer experience through digitalization, blockchain and NFT technology. They also proposed the implementation of solutions on the market of China and the United States, as well as the possibility of scaling the offer to other segments of consumers.

FOS team was being praised for team energy, presentation, innovative strategy that uses technological solutions to improve the experience when buying jewelry, as well as a customized strategy for international performance. The jury consisted of representatives of the top management of Pandora, Microsoft, Carlsberg, Thornico, as well as the leading management consulting company Bain & Company.
