From 14 till 18 July 2025, the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences hosted professors Nino Mikava and Salome Silagadze from the Business and Technology University (BTU) in Tbilisi, Georgia, within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 mobility project.
During their stay in Belgrade, the professors had the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and to exchange knowledge and experiences with colleagues and students through a series of meetings and lectures. The visit began with an introductory meeting with Professor Sandra Jednak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Finance, and Bojana Ivanović Bovan, International Relations Officer, accompanied by a presentation of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. The guests also presented the Business and Technology University, its academic programs, and research activities.
As part of the program, Professor Nino Mikava delivered a guest lecture on the topic “Contemporary Challenges in Business”, within the Strategic Management course, in collaboration with Professor Dejan Petrović. Additionally, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Department of Management and Project Management — Professor Dragan Bjelica, Head of Department, and Professor Dejan Petrović.
Professor Salome Silagadze also delivered a lecture on the topic “Financial Technologies (Fintech) and Ethics” within the Banking Management course, in cooperation with Professor Slađana Barjaktarović Rakočević, Head of the Department of Financial Management and Accounting. After the lecture, a meeting was organized with the members of the department, including Professor Veljko Dmitrović, to discuss opportunities for future cooperation in the field of financial management and accounting.
This visit marks the beginning of the cooperation between the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Business and Technology University under the Erasmus+ program, which funded four outgoing staff mobilities from FON to Georgia. It has further strengthened the ties between the two institutions and opened up new opportunities for joint activities in student and staff exchange, collaborative projects, and academic mobility within the Erasmus+ framework.
