The participants of the BIP included 35 students and professors from four universities: the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Economics from Croatia, Vilnius University – Kaunas Faculty from Lithuania, the Estonian Business School from Estonia, and the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences from Serbia. The delegation from Serbia consisted of professors from the Department of E-Business, Marijana Despotović-Zrakić, PhD, Zorica Bogdanović, PhD, and Aleksandra Labus, PhD, as well as students Marina Jevtić, Danica Sovtić, and Jana Stevanović.
The aim of the program was to provide participants with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the application of digital technology (DT) in business innovation and digital business transformation. Special emphasis was placed on developing ideas related to the sustainability and ethics of DT application, as well as the potential of DT for developing inclusive businesses and inclusive digital government services.
As an integral part of this BIP program, within the virtual component, professors from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences delivered three online lectures: Dušan Barać, PhD on the topic “Digital Transformation and Digital Transformation Projects”, Zorica Bogdanović, PhD on the topic “Digital Technology for Inclusive Business Development” and Aleksandra Labus, PhD on the topic “Digital Technology for Government Services: GovTech, EdTech, and HealthTech”.
During the five-day program in Zagreb, participants visited companies Rimac Automobili, JGL d.d., and Wespa coworking spaces, as well as the Faculty of Informatics in Rijeka. They also had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Professor Emeritus Velimir Srića on the topic “Strategic Foresight as a Change Management Tool.”
