Partners visit within the Erasmus+ Project OOP4FUN

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Object-Oriented Programming for FUN” – OOP4FUN, a transnational meeting of project partners was held in Serbia from September 5th to 6th, 2024. The participants of the meeting included representatives from the University of Žilina – Faculty of Management and Informatics, Slovakia, the Business Academy Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Croatia, the Ivanec Gymnasium, Croatia, the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, while the hosts were the Gymnasium Ivanjica and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences from Serbia. 

On the first day of the visit, the partners visited the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, where Prof. Sandra Jednak, Vice Dean for International Cooperation, warmly welcomed them and introduced the Faculty. Afterwards, Prof. Dušan Savić, Vice Dean for Undergraduate Studies and the project coordinator for the University of Belgrade, provided an overview of the two-day visit agenda, presented the faculty’s resources, and gave the guests a tour of both faculty buildings. Following the faculty visit, the partners headed to Ivanjica. At the Gymnasium Ivanjica, the guests were welcomed by Dr. Duško Parezanović, the school’s director. The IT professors, Ana Stamenković and Snežana Bogdanović, along with the guests, toured the school building with a special focus on the IT classrooms. 

On the second day of the meeting, September 6th, 2024, activities took place at Hotel Buket on Zlatibor. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, with partners from Germany, including representatives from the University of Applied Sciences Dresden and the Dresden-Plauen Gymnasium, also attending. The meeting began with a review of the project’s results so far (PR1, PR2, PR3), led by Professor Peter Marton, the project leader from the University of Žilina. Further activities included a discussion of the ongoing project results (PR4 and PR5), in which all partners participated. In the second part of the day, the focus shifted to project management, covering topics such as final documentation, budget, and plans for further dissemination of project activities. The day concluded with an informal gathering on an excursion to the Šargan Eight and Drvengrad.
