The event was opened by the Professor Marko Mihić, Dean who welcomed the guests on behalf of more than 7,000 students and 300 employees.

“The Faculty of Organizational Sciences, founded 57 years ago as part of the University of Belgrade, was established with the mission of being a center of expertise and professionalism, focused on the real needs of the business world. Today, FOS is one of the most popular faculties in Serbia, with students from across the region showing great interest in becoming part of the field of organizational sciences. With two main study tracks, more than 20 programs, and active participation in the regional and international academic community, we provide numerous opportunities for academic and professional development. I hope that today’s visit will be interesting and inspiring for you, and that we will see you as part of our Faculty in the future,” said Professor Mihić.

Professor Sandra Jednak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Finance, presented the study programs and opportunities for gaining practical experience through collaboration with partners and mobility projects. Special emphasis was placed on international cooperation, connecting students with the business environment, as well as on major conferences organized by FOS.

As part of the student segment, the guests had the opportunity to learn about student life, the work of student organizations and projects, as well as academic and extracurricular activities. The visit included a tour of the Faculty and concluded with an informal gathering.
The visit was organized at the initiative of the Department of E-business and Marija Janković, Senior Researcher at CERTH (Centre for Research and Technology Hellas) in Thessaloniki, who completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at FOS, where she also worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Information Systems.

The teachers expressed strong interest in enhancing cooperation with the Faculty, particularly in the field of joint Erasmus projects, as well as in enabling pupil participation in summer schools, hackathons, and other educational activities.
The organization of the visit was supported by the International Relations Office of FOS, while the event was moderated by Professor Zorica Bogdanović from the Department of E-business.
