On the first day of their visit to the Faculty, the guests were welcomed by Professor Boris Delibašić, PhD, Vice Dean for Research, and Professor Gordana Savić, PhD, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies. During the meeting, the Faculty’s research activities were presented, with particular emphasis on ongoing research projects, key research areas, and opportunities for publishing joint scientific papers in the Faculty’s academic journals.
The PhD students from the Business and Technology University presented their research interests and doctoral dissertation topics, which focus on the transformation of the labour market under the influence of generative artificial intelligence, the organizational transformation of the financial sector in the age of artificial intelligence, and the impact of digital literacy on the adoption of digital technologies in agriculture. The presentation of their research provided an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and experiences, as well as exploring possibilities for future research collaboration.
Following a tour of the Faculty, the guests visited the Research and Development Center, where Tijana Gajić introduced them to the Center’s activities and presented the national and international research projects in which the Center is currently involved.
On the second day of the visit, a PhD Students Workshop was held, moderated by Milena Gatić, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering.
In addition to the visiting PhD students from the Business and Technology University, the workshop brought together PhD students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences: Milica Škembarević Sretenović and Marija Đukić, Teaching Assistants at the Department of Information Systems; Isidora Gaćeša, Teaching Associate at the Department of Operations Research and Statistics; Miljana Luković, Teaching Associate at the Department of Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics; and Sonja Ivančević, Research Associate.
During the workshop, the PhD students from the Business and Technology University presented their doctoral research projects and research areas. Together with their colleagues from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, they exchanged experiences on current research topics, research methodologies, and the challenges they encounter in their scientific work.
Particular emphasis was placed on identifying shared research interests and exploring opportunities for future collaboration through joint research projects and co-authored scientific publications, with a strong focus on networking among early-career researchers and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
